Module-theoretic Properties of Reachability Modules for SRIQ

In this paper we investigate the module-theoretic properties of ⊥− and >-reachability modules in terms of inseparability relations for the DL SRIQ. We show that, although these modules are not depleting or self-contained, they share the robustness properties of syntactic locality modules and preserve all justifications for an entailment.

Subpullbacks and Po-flatness Properties of S-posets

In (Golchin A. and Rezaei P., Subpullbacks and flatness properties of S-posets. Comm. Algebra. 37: 1995-2007 (2009)) study was initiated of flatness properties of right -posets  over a pomonoid  that can be described by surjectivity of  corresponding to certain (sub)pullback diagrams and new properties such as  and  were discovered. In this article first of all we describe po-flatness propertie...

Some properties of the LCM sequence

The Smarandache Least Common Multiply Sequence is defined by: SLS −→ L(1), L(2), L(3), · · · , L(n), L(n + 1), · · · . For example, the first few values in the sequence {L(n)} are: L(1) = 1, L(2) = 2, L(3) = 6, L(4) = 12, L(5) = 60, L(6) = 60, L(7) = 420, L(8) = 840, L(9) = 2520, L(10) = 2520, · · · . About the elementary arithmetical properties of L(n), there are many results in elementary num...

Divisibilty Properties of Gcd Ve Lcm Matrices

Let a, b and n be positive integers and let S = {x1, x2, . . . , xn} be a set of distinct positive integers. The n × n matrix (Sf ) = (f ((xi, xj))), having f evaluated at the greatest common divisor (xi, xj) of xi and xj as its ij−entry, is called the GCD matrix associated with f on the set S. Similarly, the n × n matrix [Sf ] = (f ([xi, xj ])) is called the LCM matrix associated with f on S. ...

Stability, NIP, and NSOP; Model Theoretic Properties of Formulas via Topological Properties of Function Spaces

We study and characterize stability, NIP and NSOP in terms of topological and measure theoretical properties of classes of functions. We study a measure theoretic property, ‘Talagrand’s stability’, and explain the relationship between this property and NIP in continuous logic. Using a result of Bourgain, Fremlin and Talagrand, we prove the ‘almost and Baire 1 definability’ of types assuming NIP...
